The rain stops. The sky clears. The air is crisp and cold.
Just for one night, time stands still.
Tens of thousands of twinkling lights.
An illusion. A mystery.
A feeling of enchantment.
Children’s smiles.
Removed from everyday life.
Thankful for this moment in time.
For we are all children, in awe of the Magic.

We had out of town company and we were planning to go to Butchart Gardens this past Saturday night even if it rained. As you know, we were fortunate that the rain stopped late afternoon. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones, Donna!

Wow, Erica, these are such magical photos. Lights in this season just seem to capture the child-like wonder in all of us. But the best was the look in the eyes of the child. That’s magic!
